The key factor is the doll’s height, with distinctions between baby dolls and standing dolls:
Baby dolls: S (30–33 cm), M (42–46 cm), L (48–50 cm)
Standing dolls: XS (25–30 cm), XM (36 cm), XL (45–50 cm)

Götz recommends soft-bodied dolls for cuddling and first role play, or bath dolls from 18+ months – either soft-bodied, such as Cosy Aquini, or hard-bodied, such as Sleepy Aquini.

As a rule of thumb:
Vinyl hard-bodied dolls can be wiped clean – easy to care for.
Vinyl soft-bodied dolls can often go in the washing machine and even the dryer.
Doll hair can be washed, combed, and styled – just like real hair. This way, your Götz doll stays hygienic, well-kept, and beautiful for years to come.
